How does PAP+ Powder work?
Whitening powders typically use abrasives to scrub away surface stains which can lead to things like enamel etching and sensitivity. Instead of an abrasive whitening method, the PAP+ Powder oxidises stains through the use of PAP+ (Pthalimidoperoxycaproicacid), without causing any pain or sensitivity. Add effective whitening to your everyday toothpaste by simply dipping it in the PAP+ Powder.
PAP is a safer alternative to peroxide, that doesn’t release free radicals. This means there is zero impact on gums or enamel.
How & when should I use PAP+ Whitening Powder?
There’s two ways to use our PAP+ Powder, with or without toothpaste. Both methods are effective, so choose whichever is your personal preference.
To apply without toothpaste
Wet your toothbrush and shake off any excess water. Dip your toothbrush into the powder jar, so that bristles are evenly coated. Brush thoroughly for 2 minutes. Expel and rinse mouth after use.
To apply with toothpaste
Wet your toothbrush and shake off any excess water, then apply toothpaste to the brush. Gently dip your toothbrush into the powder jar, so that the toothpaste is evenly coated. Brush thoroughly for 2 minutes. Expel and rinse mouth after use.

Braces and brackets will cause uneven whitening when using our PAP+ range, so we recommend waiting for these to be removed first before using our products. You may be able to use our products with a retainer, however this depends on the sort of retainer you have. We encourage you to speak with your dentist prior to using PAP.
